Kimleigh Labradors is a small hobby Kennel, located on eleven acres in beautiful Berryville, Virginia. The name Kimleigh was derived from a combination of my two daughters names.

I started out in obedience in the early 1980's with my first Labrador, bought from the Amberfield Kennels in NJ. I competed in obedience until 2000.

In the mid 1980's I made the jump into the conformation ring. I was showing a black boy I had purchased from Alegra Kennels in MI. I purchased two more black boys over the years from Windfall Kennels, and slowly moved out of the obedience ring altogether.

In 2002, I was blessed to have my foundation bitch, Windfall's Star Wars @ Kimleigh, sent to me, by Annie Cogo and Nancy Chargo. "Paddy" was too smart for the show ring, and it bored her! Her job proved to be the greatest in the whelping box. From her first breeding I got my first home-bred Champion, Kimleigh's Once In A Blue Moon. All of my current dogs come down from Paddy.

My dogs are pets first, show dogs second.I breed one litter a year, and prefer to place my puppies in loving pet homes. My puppies are all sold on limited registration, and all parents have age appropriate health clearances. Temperament and health are most important to me followed by that beautiful "English" look
